Almost time for "Ho,Ho, Claus"

I love my kid. Shes so funny, no like REALLY funny. She says the cutest things. We have found ourselves in December. Time flies and its hard to stop at any point in our whrilwind lives and take time out to chronicle. I really must find a way for this all to slow down.
Halloween was pronounced "HowHow ween" its was blast, we took her to the Square in C-town, not ideal but it did the job.

My sister came in and brought her son to celebrate his first birthday. During this time my grandfather started Chemo and his completely curable cancer turned into a nasty little monster. ::Sigh:: Its been laughter, tears, frustration and love. But every single day is a gift and should be slowed down as much as possible as to enjoy it down the very last drop. Drink it in. Life is short and the world is small.
Thanksgiving has passed, to list what Im thankful for would be a task in vain, as every single day Id have to add even more. Im just thankful. Christmas is falling upon us rapidly. "Ho ho claus will be so happy" I hear this 10x per day and every single time it makes me smile. We put up the tree and he'd be so happy, we put up the lights and he'd be so happy. Everything we do these days is in anticipation and lure of Santa and Im loving it all. We wrote to him tonight and sealed the letter with a kiss so that he may send us one of his elves to visit and report to him how good shes being. I bet he does, because Santa is cool like that. This will be the best Christmas by far. I wish I could figure out how to "BE" christmas, because I would so do it.
She says so much every day that I need to chronicle. She loves marshmallows like little bear, she "told you" when you are in trouble with her, and at the end of the day really all she wants is a sweet tart. Simple.

We're redone the house and by WE I mean ME. I painted the inside and out, and it feels great. I got a new ride and although I was sad to say goodbye to Lucy, I love Natalie. It feels good to say it ;) I have so much more, so much we've done, so much we've said, it makes me feel guilty for not stopping to write it down, but Im sure someone way smarter than I has quoted about what happens to you when you are looking down to write about life...you miss it. But I dont have time to figure out exactly how it goes or who sad it. Until the next time I stop to breathe...Peace, Love and Thanks. Happy Holidays~

Skhool is Kool!

Okay today was the day, C went to school. I dont know what Ill do when she starts real full blown have-to-go school. I cried. Im a dork and whatever, but I bawled. I had to lie to her and that made me feel bad, leaving her with "strangers" made me feel bad, and the thought of her maybe wanting to stay there made me feel bad. UGH!
Its almost the end of her first day and Im anxious to pick her up and hear all about it. I called to check on her a hour in and they told me that she cried but they had her calmed down and she was having fun. I hope it stayed that way. I know she needs this and she will grow to love it. She was so excited about going I just dont think she realized that I would be leaving her:( This gives me the sadz.
On a good note she was super happy and looking oh-so-cute in my new fall skirts and bows that Im selling (wink, wink). Heres some pics of my cutie! Enjoy~

Too Much

"Too Much" I think this is C's favorite saying. We have been up to "too much." Since the last posting we made our very first batch of brownie cupcakes. This was trip. She did every single thing in preparation of them, she is such a great cook:)

Well the day has come and gone. J is graduated, that chapter of our lives has been written and now its time for our next adventure. I took a picture of J and C on his first day and here's a pic of the two of them on his last day. Too cute.

We had an awesome trip to the farmers market. It was a playdate last week. If anyone didn't know there is a great market down off of Airline, the Canino market. Then we went and let the kiddos blow off steam and cool off at Chick-fil-a and I just love this pic:

And then there was the train. Oh Lawd. This was literally a train wreck. Houston really dropped the ball on this one. First off it was so poorly organized, how can you expect toddlers stand out side in a 3 hours line on pavement that is 112 degrees? Seriously. I was beyond pizzed, we went to see this Disney movie train thing, luckily we have an easily distracted 2 year old, so we saw the outside of the train and then did what any parent in their right mind would do...we bribed her. LOL! We took her for ice cream, but here's the pics we got while we were there.

Today we went to a super fun playdate! And the week is starting out great! Of course I have to add shamless plug, please check out my site we have been busily working our tails off to get ready for the fall show circut, let us know what you think!

The big day is upon us

Tomorrow is the big day. J takes his last final tomorrow and we are elated. Last night we threw him a surprise dinner party at the "garden". I was so nice and we actually surprised him, he had no clue. Of course pics are included:)He recieved lots of nice cards and gifts and got a new rifle which he is so excited about.

Today I have the crud and C has a mini version of the crud. So we sit here as my super sweet hubster is outside mowing the grass. I think we may have a summer cold, yuck!
As for what is next for the Loftins I have no clue. We have been throwing around the idea of a road trip vacation, we will see. I of course continue to try and work like mad to get things ready for the fall craft show rush. Not too much new to update, since our last post we have visited, partied and bowled. All were fun and exciting! Hopefully in the next update I will have some fun news!

Lets go Astros

Lets Go! Alright today ROCKED. The family was awesome, the food was good and the entertainment was great, but that being said I have to admit going to a baseball game with a two year old may not be the most enjoyable way to see a game. I've said it before and Ill say it again, thank God for the Iphone. You tube saved us from torture during that game.
We started the day off by taking a short stroll through the mall which inevitably meant a ride on the pony. Today we rode "Lightning" Woohoo. Then we headed down to the game, we got great parking and everything went well, they have a deal on some Games that you get a ticket, a hot dog, a drink and a bag of chips for $10. Oh yeah its a sweet deal. Check out their homepage and find out more!
Anyway the game started and pretty much after the first pitch C was DONE. Enter the Iphone. LOL!
Also we left early and got soaked on the way to the car, thats our luck, we go to game and park moons away in the middle of a drought and leave in a thunderstorm having to hoof it with no umbrella. Figures. But at least C found the humor in it as she giggle and cackled all the way to the car. Children always show you the good in things.
So another great day down in the Loftin family books.
Heres some pics....Peace!

Life after the circus...

Ah, does one exist? LOL! C had a BLAST at the circus and I think I have to speak for everyone who went and say it was a blast. We had great seats courtesy of my awesome parents and it was truly a show for all ages. Of course I took pics but they didn't turn out as well as Id hoped, but you will get the get the drift:)

Also I totally forgot to post our 4th of July pics! We went on my grandfathers boat. It was so much fun!! Of course C took to it like a fish in water, she loves anything to do with water. Today when she woke up she told me the plan for the day, took roll call in her bed and then proceeded to tell me she needed to go to the beach today! LOL! So anyway here's the pics, Enjoy!

So we have a busy week this week and hopefully lots of adventures to share. This week my grandfather starts Chemo for his lung cancer, scary stuff, but I know he'll be fine. C and I have a play date tomorrow which is always fun times. J has a softball game on Tues. We have an Astros game on Wed. On Thursday I am having SURGERY! Ok, well maybe not BIG surgery but the paperwork says minor surgery, so its still surgery, lol! I am having a nevus sebaceous (google it) removed that Ive had for 28 whole years~Ill be glad to have one less thing to worry about. And then that leaves Friday...humm. I wonder how will we will fill that day with fun!
